The manse at Umhlanga Baptist Church is home to more than just the pastor and his family. It is shared with a team of passionate, committed caregivers and a bundle of little ones! For the purposes, a seldom used outside room has been transformed into a baby haven. With a passion for their local community, Pastor William Colledge and his wife Helen opened their Habit baby house just over a year ago. Since then they have seen a steady stream of babies through the tricky transition phase and into adoption.
